The high-priced purple sweet potato that is sought after by many people is the Australian purple sweet potato. This type costs from 300,000 VND to 370,000 VND / 1 kg with a white skin, but the inside of the potato is dark purple.

When baked, the golden-flesh sweet potatoes have a sweet and fragrant taste, with the flesh remaining dry rather than soft and moist like honey sweet potatoes. Honey sweet potatoes bear a resemblance to yellow sweet potatoes in terms of their color range, transitioning from yellow to orange. In Vietnam, honey sweet potatoes are branded as "Hoang Long" sweet potatoes and are predominantly grown in Gia Vien, Ninh Binh province and Dat Lat. The price for these sweet potatoes ranges from 25,000 VND to 35,000 VND per kilogram.

Unlike other sweet potato varieties, white sweet potatoes have a low sugar content, resulting in a less sweet taste. As a result, they are relatively more affordable compared to other sweet potatoes.
